Handel Hendrix House

The London homes of Handel and Hendrix, side by side

In a single street, separated by a wall, are the homes of two of history's most significant musicians. 25 Brook Street is the house where George Frideric Handel composed some of the world's most enduring baroque music, including Messiah. On the top floor of 23 Brook Street is the flat where, two centuries later, Jimi Hendrix lived. Today the two addresses form one museum of restored rooms, exhibitions, events and venue hire.
